Cancord Ropes Inc., operating as www.RopeShop.ca (“RopeShop.ca”) respects the privacy of all of its users and is committed to protecting such privacy in accordance with this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy explains RopeShop.ca’s treatment of your personally identifiable information collected in connection with your activities on or related to all RopeShop.ca websites referencing this Privacy Policy (the “RopeShop.ca Sites”) and all products and services made available on the RopeShop.ca Sites (collectively, unless noted otherwise, the “RopeShop.ca Services”). This Privacy Policy also explains how you can ask questions and make suggestions about our privacy practices and review and update your personal information.

1. Information Collected
   1. In the course of operating the RopeShop.ca Services, we may collect two types of information about our users: Personal Information and Non-Personal Information.
   2. “Personal Information” is personally identifiable information, such as your name, address, e-mail address, birth date and gender. Personal Information is collected by us when you choose to provide it to us when registering for a RopeShop.ca Service, such as purchasing a RopeShop.ca product, when you choose to subscribe to a RopeShop.ca Service, enter a RopeShop.ca promotion or choose to receive a RopeShop.ca newsletter. In addition, if you choose to contact any of our customer service representatives, we may keep a record of that correspondence so that we may fully address the subject matter. Aggregate information, such as demographic statistics of our users (g., average age or geographical allocation of our users), number of visitors and average time spent on a RopeShop.ca Service, is also considered Non-Personal Information. 8. Confidentiality Warning
   Absent the use of encryption, the Internet is not a secure medium and privacy cannot be ensured. Internet e-mail is vulnerable to interception and forging.    2. By joining RopeShop.ca, you acknowledge and agree that RopeShop.ca will send member e-mails relating to their member account, transactions and RopeShop.ca promotions.
