550 Paracord is the cord of choice for everything from survival to crafting. It is manufactured with a 32 strand braided sheath (skin) to give it a smooth texture with good abrasion resistance. The 7 precisely twisted core strands (often referred to as the guts) give the cord its ideal shape and versatility. In traditional military and survival applications, these core strands can be pulled out and used as fishing line or sewing thread. The leftover coreless paracord remains useful as a general purpose cord for tying gear, replacement boot laces or a myriad of other application. For these reasons paracord is often braided into survival bracelets, belts or lanyards that can be dismantled and used in emergency situations. With its exceptional knotability, it is the most popular choice today for decorative knotting, collars, leads, camera straps, whipmaking and any other decorative knotting application you can imagine.
Our paracord proudly made in our Ontario, Canada factory. We are adding new colours all the time and love customer feedback. Please email your ideas to firstname.lastname@example.org or DM us through social media.
