This solid braid multifilament polypropylene (MFP) rope is commonly referred to as Derby Rope. This name that originated from its popularity in equestrian circles as a halter or lead rope due to its soft easy knotting feel. Given its buoyant and light weight nature it is now equally popular as a pool rope.
